Pyongyang in Sorrow of Parting with KCU Delegates
Pyongyang, June 10 (KCNA) -- The April 25 Hotel was overcome with rages of tears of 20,000 delegates of the Korean Children's Union and its employees at their parting on Saturday.

The delegates were leaving the hotel after staying there for several days to participate in the celebrations of the 66th KCU birthday.

They hardly kept back their tears in buses towards the destinations, the railway station and the airport, touched by good-bye by Pyongyang citizens with sorrow of parting.

They seemed to recall the enjoyable time they spent in the Amusement Park in Kaeson Youth Park, the Central Zoo, Kim Il Sung University and other places in Pyongyang.

Dr. Son Kwang Su at Kim Il Sung University told KCNA:

"The celebration days in Pyongyang will be kept in the memory of the KCU delegates, as well as us.

Those delegates will be reliable pillars of the country in the future.

So bright is the future of Korea.

That is why the dear respected Kim Jong Un invited them to Pyongyang and delivered a congratulatory speech at the joint national meeting of KCU organizations.

He bestowed every possible love on them, joining them in enjoying an art performance and having a photo session with them."

The KCU celebrations were larger in its scale than the 13th World Festival of Youth and Students held in Pyongyang 23 years ago with an attendance of more than 10 000 delegates.

People would say that the steadfast will of the Workers' Party of Korea to spare nothing for rising generation can be read on the faces of the KCU members.

On the plane, Ri Myong Hyang (8), a girl from Iljabong Branch under Kaeunsong Secondary School in Samsu County, Ryanggang Province, said:

"Back home, I will tell my parents, teachers and classmates about what I enjoyed in Pyongyang amid the blessings by the whole country."

Many delegates pledged themselves to keep in their mind forever the statues of Generalissimos Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il on Mansu Hill, the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun and the rostrum at Kim Il Sung Stadium.
