Japan, U.S. Kick Off Reckless Joint Military Exercises
Pyongyang, June 9 (KCNA) -- Japan and the U.S. are busy staging madcap joint military exercises in a bid to ignite a war of aggression any time, seriously straining the regional situation.

The three-day Japan-U.S. joint military drills were kicked off on Kyusu Island, Japan on June 6.

Australia is also reported to have been involved in this saber-rattling. It is said that warships, submarines and patrol craft of the Japan maritime SDF and naval forces of the U.S. and Australia are staging the drills of detecting and pursuing submarines.

It is the fifth time for the countries to stage such naval maneuvers since 2007.
