KCU Delegates' Impressions, Resolve Carried in Their Letters
Pyongyang, June 8 (KCNA) -- Delegates to the celebrations of the 66th anniversary of the Korean Children's Union (KCU) have written in their letters impressions they got during their stay in Pyongyang, as well as their resolve.

The letters deal with the special favor and loving care shown by the dear respected Kim Jong Un for them.

Pak Nam Hyok, a delegate from Songrim Secondary School in Chongjin City, North Hamgyong Province, in a letter to his teacher said:

"When I was leaving for Pyongyang amid warm welcome of my teachers and classmates, I had no idea that we could enjoy such great happiness and high honor.

To my regret, I can not express in this letter all of what I felt at that happy time.

I could hardly go to sleep all night when I received a delegate certificate to be kept as an heirloom.

The dear respected Kim Jong Un attended the joint national meeting of the Korean Children's Union organizations on the 66th KCU anniversary and joined us delegates in appreciating a concert given by the Unhasu Orchestra.

All these facts seem to me like a dream.

He is, indeed, our benevolent father as he has cultivated the garden of love for the future in this land with Kim Jong Il's patriotism based on the noble outlook on posterity.

All these happy days will be always kept in my memory."

Kim Hyon Ho, a delegate from Wonchang Secondary School in Sonchon County, North Phyongan Province, said in a letter to his father:

"When visiting the statues of Generalissimos Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il on Mansu Hill, I told them about the honor of my family.

We delegates visited the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun and Generalissimo Kim Il Sung's old home in Mangyongdae and had a pleasant time in the Amusement Park in Kaeson Youth Park.

Then we took tray-noodle mixed with minced meat at Okryu Restaurant."

Kim Su Jong, a delegate from Oksu Secondary School in Taesan District, Nampho, wrote in a letter to her classmates:

"The dear respected Kim Jong Un posed for a souvenir picture with the KCU delegates, including me. We burst into 'Hurrah', looking up to him, who bestowed great honor to us.

He said in his congratulatory speech that the features of thriving Korea in the future would be drawn on report cards of the KCU members before anything else.

It is my call that you and I, as members of the Children's Union founded and developed by Generalissimos Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il, should do better at study and organizational life to display the dignity of our country to the whole world, always keeping his teachings in our mind."
