DPRK Hopes for Good Results in 2012 London Olympiad
Pyongyang, June 8 (KCNA) -- The Democratic People's Republic of Korea aims to clinch more medals than before in the upcoming 30th London Olympics, a sports expert told KCNA.

49 DPRK players (35 women, 14 men) are qualified for 2012 London Olympics in 11 events, including women's football, marathon, table-tennis, wrestling and weightlifting.

The DPRK pins its hopes on weightlifting and wrestling in particular.

Women's football is also hopeful. The women footballers are now undergoing hard training to get a good result in the Olympics.

The DPRK won four gold medals in the 25th Olympiad and two gold medals in the 26th and 29th Olympic Games respectively.
