Dong-A Ilbo Urged to Apologize for Telling Lie
Pyongyang, June 6 (KCNA) -- The "Religion, Civic and Public Measure Committee for Coping with Misinformation of Dong-A Ilbo on Late Spring Mun Ik Hwan School" of south Korea held a press conference outside the building of Dong-A Ilbo to denounce the conservative media for releasing misinformation on June 1.

Speakers at the conference accused Dong-A Ilbo of releasing misinformation about the Late Spring Mun Ik Hwan School that it let its young students participate in demos after giving them ideological education and their parents are opening internet websites to communicate with the north.

They recalled that the school in Kangjin County of South Jolla Province has deemed it a goal of education to achieve the peaceful national reunification true to the will of Rev. Mun Ik Hwan.

This being a hard fact, the conservative paper defamed even the inviolable seat of learning of children under the absurd pretext of ideology, they noted, adding that this is part of the coloring row kicked up before the "presidential election".

Querying Dong-A Ilbo if its hack journalists wrote such stories after visiting the school even once, they declared that organizations grouping people of different social standings and religionists would stage a massive protest unless the paper makes an apology and correction.
