KCU Delegates Tour Pyongyang
Pyongyang, June 4 (KCNA) -- The delegates to the celebrations of the 66th anniversary of the Korean Children's Union (KCU) visited Mangyongdae, the cradle of the revolution.

They laid wreaths at the graves of President Kim Il Sung's grandfather Kim Po Hyon and grandmother Ri Po Ik, father Kim Hyong Jik and mother Kang Pan Sok and paid homage to them.

They were guided to the old home of Kim Il Sung there after making a round of the Mangyongdae Revolutionary Museum.

Going round the historical mementoes there, they learned about the great revolutionary careers and achievements of the family members of Mangyongdae.

They looked round the warship rock, the wrestling site, the study site on Mangyong Hill, etc.

They also visited the Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery on Mt. Taesong.

They laid bouquets before the bust of Kim Jong Suk, an anti-Japanese war hero, and paid homage to her.

They also visited the Victorious Fatherland Liberation War Memorial Tower. Going round the group sculptures, they determined to carry forward the spirit displayed by the heroes in unhesitatingly dedicating their lives and youth to the Workers' Party and leader during the last Fatherland Liberation War.

Meanwhile, they visited Kim Il Sung University, the Taedonggang Combined Fruit Farm, etc. They enjoyed performances given by the artistes of the National Symphony Orchestra and acrobats and had a pleasant time in the Kaeson Youth Park.
