Rodong Sinmun Lauds Kim Il Sung's Ideological and Theoretical Exploits
Pyongyang, June 4 (KCNA) -- President Kim Il Sung was a peerlessly great man who led global independence to victory with his outstanding ideas and theories, says Rodong Sinmun Monday in a bylined article.

The President founded the immortal Juche idea, making lucid and perfect clarification of urgent issues arising in the national liberation movements in colonies and the building of a new society in the newly independent countries, the article says, and goes on:

The Juche idea is a new guiding idea of revolution in the era of independence.

The President termed the anti-imperialist and anti-colonial movement of Asian, African and Latin-American people a sacred struggle for liberating hundreds of millions of oppressed and maltreated people, a struggle for cutting off the lifeline of imperialism and a revolutionary struggle of the international working class for socialism.

The President also laid down a wise policy that if countries build self-supporting national economy and boost south-south cooperation, they can weather difficulties and hardships in building a new society and achieve progress and prosperity by their own efforts.

Independence, peace and friendship are the basic idea and principle for activities to be adhered to in the movement for building a new independent world. This is the main idea enunciated by the President for global independence.

The President clarified principled requirements, tasks and strategy and tactics for building an independent world, including the idea that what is important for global independence is to expand and develop the Non-aligned Movement and strengthen the global movement for defending peace.

The President scientifically proved the justice and truth of the cause of socialism and the inevitability of its final victory and made perfect clarification of principles and theoretical and practical issues arising in socialist construction.
