| Pyongyang, June 3 (KCNA) -- The delegates to the celebrations of the 66th anniversary of the Korean Children's Union (KCU) visited Mangyongdae, birthplace of President Kim Il Sung, on Sunday. At the President's old home they looked round historic relics preserved there as they were. Kim Mi Hyang, a delegate from Kanggye Secondary School No. 1 in Jagang Province, told KCNA: "Everything seems to me like a dream. I visited Mangyongdae, a cradle of revolution I had always pictured in my mind I have learnt a lot of things from Mangyongdae where the President spent his childhood. Always picturing Mangyongdae in my mind, I will be better at study and organizational life to delight the dear respected Kim Jong Un." Rim Un Jong, KCU instructor at the Songgan Primary School in Songgan County, said: "Our school is far away from Pyongyang, but we have always pictured Mangyongdae as well as the capital city of Pyongyang in our mind. I am very excited at the visit to Mangyongdae with the delegate certificates carrying the deep love of Kim Jong Un. Cherishing this honor deep in mind, I will do my best to bring up the schoolchildren to be KCU members intensely loyal to Kim Jong Un." |
