KCU Delegates Pay Homage to Kim Il Sung, Kim Jong Il

| Pyongyang, June 3 (KCNA) -- The delegates to the celebrations of the 66th anniversary of the Korean Children's Union (KCU) visited the statues of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il on Mansu Hill on Sunday. They laid floral baskets, bouquets and flowers before the statues and paid homage to them. Kim Kwang Chol, vice department director of the C.C., Kim Il Sung Socialist Youth League, told KCNA: "The dear respected Kim Jong Un initiated holding such grand celebrations unprecedented in history. The celebrations mirror the peerlessly great men's noble outlook on posterity responsible for the future of a thriving nation." Han Il Nam, secretary of the North Hwanghae Provincial Committee of the Youth League, said that the statues of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il remind him of their deep love for the rising generations. Sim Son Hui, KCU instructor at Kaesong College of Arts in North Hwanghae Province, said that she would devote herself to bringing up the KCU members to be future masters of a thriving nation, true to the noble intention of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il. Choe Jong Bom, a delegate from Nampho Revolutionary School, said: "I will prepare myself to be an able worker of the country, knowledgeable, virtuous and healthy, true to the oath I took when joining the KCU founded and developed by Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il." Pak Chung Un, a delegate from the Namtha Branch under the Tongdo Secondary School in Kophung County, Jagang Province, expressed her resolve to study harder under the slogan "Let Us Study for Korea!" to become a creditable pillar of the country. |
