Ram K. Karmacharya, chairman of the Study and Research Forum of Songun Politics of the National Press Club of Nepal, made a speech at the inaugural ceremony.

The chairman said:

The supreme leader of the Korean people Kim Jong Un was elected first secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and first chairman of the DPRK National Defence Commission and he assumed the post of supreme commander of the Korean People's Army, providing a sure guarantee for the peace of the Korean Peninsula and triumphant advance of the cause of the global independence.

The immortal Juche idea founded by President Kim Il Sung and the Songun cause of HE Kim Jong Il have been steadfastly carried forward.

The DPRK will surely build a thriving nation and achieve the cause of reunification and it will proudly rank itself among powers thanks to HE Kim Jong Un.
