S. Korean Authorities' Unpopular Healthcare Policy Slammed
Pyongyang, May 29 (KCNA) -- Representatives of civic and public organizations of south Korea including the Headquarters of the All-People Movement for Checking the Privatization of Medical Institutions and Strengthening the Guarantee of Health Insurance and medical experts held a press conference in Seoul on May 23 at which they rejected the puppet authorities' unpopular healthcare policy.

Speakers at the press conference said that the present "government' announced last month "regulations for the enforcement of the special law on the designation and operation of zones of economic freedom" which allow the introduction of foreign medical institutions and is mulling discussing the rules for their enforcement containing details including the standard for establishing hospitals at the "National Assembly".

According to it, the introduction of such hospitals seeking huge profits is brisk, they noted, and went on:

The introduction of such hospitals may adversely affect the health of people as doctor's fee is higher than in any other hospitals and their medical technology is low.

The "government" claimed that the introduction of such hospitals would be confined to free economic zones, but it is as clear as noonday that this will spill over to all parts of south Korea.

Now that FTA has been concluded with the U.S., any action to allow this introduction would entail irrevocable consequences.

Urging the Lee "government" to retract the introduction of the above-said hospitals which would result in bringing the healthcare field to a collapse, they called upon the people from all walks of life to carry on their actions to check it.
