Rodong Sinmun Accuses S. Korea of Fascist Action against Opposition Party
Pyongyang, May 28 (KCNA) -- A few days ago Lee Myung Bak group of south Korea conducted a search operation against the building of the Unified Progressive Party, confiscating three servers that contained the list of party members. It was unprecedented crackdown that the prosecution took away even the party member list, not content with the wholesale investigation into the opposition party on charge of "election" fraud.

Rodong Sinmun on Monday observes in a bylined commentary in this regard:

The fascist action taken by the Lee Myung Bak group against the UPP is nothing but dastardly political terrorism to undermine it and break solidarity among opposition parties in a bid to realize its ambition for stay in power.

The reality clearly shows that the present regime in south Korea whose power is in the hands of traitor Lee is hordes of fascist gangsters who stoop to any infamy to meet their partisan interests and gratify their greed for power.

The recent incident was a product of the last-ditch efforts of the group of traitors to get rid of its tight corner.

What matters is the fact that the fascist authorities' repressive campaign against the progressive forces is going on under the pretext of linkage with the north.

The Lee group is loudly crying out for "elimination of the forces following the north," again trumpeting about "the coloring theory" with the "election" at hand.

This goes to prove that the group of traitors is working hard to break the solidarity between the UPP and other opposition parties by branding the progressive and pro-reform forces as "spies of the north" and realize its ambition to stay in power as it was another vicious politically-motivated provocation to the DPRK.

But the group is sadly mistaken if it calculates it can stay in power through such clumsy trick.
