Pyongyang Is Waiting for KCU Delegates
Pyongyang, May 26 (KCNA) -- Pyongyang, the capital city of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, is now busy with preparations to welcome the delegates to the celebrations of the 66th anniversary of the Korean Children's Union (KCU), which falls on June 6.

The e-library at Kim Il Sung University will give a special service to the delegates through introductory documentaries and modern visual aids so as to implant in their minds the noble intention of leader Kim Jong Il, who hoped that the KCU members would grow up to be reliable cores of the Songun revolution while looking out over the world with their feet planted in their land.

The Pyongyang Circus prepares aerial stunts "Flying Girls" and "Fliers" and other diverse programs for acrobatic performances to be given by acrobats of the circus and students of Pyongyang Acrobatic School. Also put on the stage will be comedic and animal feats to delight the delegates.

Similar preparations are also being made at the Central Zoo for those delegates to enjoy a pleasant time during their tour of Pyongyang.

Meanwhile, the National Symphony Orchestra, well-known to the world, steps up the preparations of celebration performance.

Choe Ki Hyok, a concert master of the Orchestra, said:

"There has been no instance in the world that a symphony orchestra prepared special performance for schoolchildren.

In fact, a symphony has long served only for privileged classes throughout the world, but in our country it serves the working masses. The topnotch instrumentalists are to give their performance in honor of sons and daughters of the working people.

We will give pleasure to exemplary KCU members, by ensuring successful performance on the highest level."

The Kaeson Youth Park Funfair has finished its preparations to receive the little delegates.

Service workers of public catering establishments, including Okryu and Chongryu restaurants, strive to prepare tasty meals for the delegates.

During their stay in Pyongyang the KCU delegates will be received as state guests wherever they go.
