New Species of Fishes Inhabited in Central Zoo of DPRK
Pyongyang, May 26 (KCNA) -- More than 100 ornamental fishes of 10 odd species have been recently inhabited at the aquarium of the Central Zoo in Pyongyang.

They include kissing gooraml (Heostoma temminki), tiger barb (Barbus tetrazona), sucker catfish (Hypostomus plecostomus) and speckled scalare (Pterophyllum eimeni).

The 7 to 9 centimeter-long rainbow fish (Melanotaenla maccullochi) lives in Australia and Papua New Guinea and 5 centimeter-long black tetra (Gymnocorymbus ternetzi) in Paraguay.
