Thousands of anti-NATO protesters marched through downtown Chicago on May 20.

Chanting slogans "NATO, NATO, Get Away!" they carried banners or placards bearing such slogans as "No More Wars for US," "No to NATO War," "Stop Drone Attacks" and "NO NATO War Makers."

Police helicopters were roaring overhead to monitor the march through downtown Chicago. Seven people have been arrested by police officers.
