Voluntary Bus Services Brisk in Pyongyang
Pyongyang, May 19 (KCNA) -- Buses, owned by ministries and national institutions, are seen running along streets of Pyongyang, the capital city of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, with passengers aboard in rush hours.

Thae Yong Il, section chief of the Ministry of Machine-Building Industry, told KCNA:

"It was in one January morning when we saw many citizens waiting in queues at a bus stop in biting cold, among them some nursing women.

That day, we discussed giving voluntary services to commuters with the ministry's buses for employees' attendance and leaving on their return routes. The bus service would make effective use of gasoline.

Thus, the ministry's buses began running in rush hours on various routes in the city. The citizens, not knowing the whereabouts of the buses, have become to be deeply moved by such voluntary service.

Employees of the Ministry of Machine-Building Industry are now striving to do many good jobs for the people, encouraged by the dear respected Kim Jong Un's noble outlook on the people."

Such kind of bus services is available at the Central Bank and other institutions. Voluntary bus services can be also found in the Anju area, South Phyongan Province, aimed to carry coal miners as well as publications.

There are many people in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, determined to do good jobs for others, following Kim Jong Il's patriotism.
