Fall of Lee Myung Bak Regime Inevitable: Rodong Sinmun
Pyongyang, May 15 (KCNA) -- The fall of the Lee Myung Bak regime of traitors is a necessity of history. The candlelights held high by the protesters in south Korea will burn up the group of traitors to ashes. Rodong Sinmun Tuesday says this in a bylined article.

Owing to their despicable sycophantic and traitorous policy, the dignity and interests of the south Korean people are ruthlessly violated and their lives are put at peril, the article says, and goes on:

The desire for independent reunification and reunification through alliance with the north that had grown strong in south Korea was chilled and the inter-Korean relations were brought back to the dark era of antagonism and confrontation. This is the catastrophic consequences entailed by the group of traitors' escalated confrontation with compatriots.

Hundreds of media persons with anti-government tendency were punished owing to the conservative authorities' fascist moves to put them under their control, the participants in candlelight demonstrations against the import of American beef were brutally suppressed by police gangsters and evacuees from Ryongsan who called for the guarantee of their right to existence were burned to death by police "commandoes," their grudge unsettled, in the last little over four years. These facts go to clearly prove that traitor Lee is the heinous fascist dictator and brutal abuser of human rights.

Lee and his group wrested power with hypocritical pledges to recover economy and improve people's living, but they threw them away like a pair of worn-out sandals and ran the whole gamut of irregularities and corruption to amass their fortune.

It is quite natural for the south Korean people to resolutely turn out in a mass struggle under the slogan "Down with Lee Myung Bak regime!"
