The exhibition will be held, divided into designs of machine products, IT-based designs, designs of machine forms and prize contest.

On display there are more than 650 valuable machine designs and form designs, research data for developing designing technology and its ways, machine designing support and mock processing programs, etc. presented by officials and working people in different units across the country. They will contribute to the development of the machine industry and improvement of people's living standard.

Present at the opening ceremony were Ri Ja Bang, chairman of the State Science and Technology Commission, officials concerned, officials, designers, creators, teachers and researchers in the fields of machine designing and industrial art studios from across the country, education and scientific research institutions and workers and technicians of industrial establishments.

Kye Hui Nam, vice-chairman of the Central Committee of the General Federation of Science and Technology of Korea, made an opening address.
