Chinese Organization Donates Materials to DPRK

| Pyongyang, May 8 (KCNA) -- The China Association for International Friendly Contact donated materials to the work for sprucing up the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun where President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il lie in state. A donating ceremony took place on the spot Tuesday. Present there were Kim Jin Pom, vice-chairman of the Central Committee of the DPRK-China Friendship Association and vice-chairman of the DPRK Committee for Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries, officials concerned, members of the friendship delegation of the China Association for International Friendly Contact headed by its President Li Zhaoxing and Li Qingjiang, councilor of the Chinese embassy here. Speeches were made at the ceremony before handing over a donation certificate. |
