Lee Myung Bak Regime's Scenario for Preemptive Strike at DPRK under Fire
Pyongyang, May 8 (KCNA) -- The Lee Myung Bak regime of south Korea has mapped out an operational plan for "preemptive strike" at nuclear and missile facilities of the DPRK. A high ranking official of south Korea cried out for mounting "preemptive strikes at the DPRK" in order to cope with the "north's possible nuclear attack", talking about its sign. He went the lengths of bluffing that there are in place not only a scenario for "preemptive attack" but an "operational plan for destroying the north's major facilities" in less than three days in case an all-out war is sparked by this attack.

Rodong Sinmun Tuesday observes in a bylined commentary in this regard:

The above-said reckless remarks indicate that the Lee group's scenario for preemptive attack on the north has entered into the phase of its full-scale implementation.

The scenario amounts to a grave military provocation against the DPRK and a dangerous move to spark an all-out war.

Under the patronage of the U.S. the puppet military group has openly cried out for "preemptive strikes," posing a serious threat to the DPRK and escalating the tension to an extreme phase.

It staged large-scale joint military exercises targeted against the north together with the U.S. every year, laying an operational groundwork for preemptive strikes at the DPRK. The above-said operational plan was worked out against this backdrop. This goes to prove that the provocation of a war by "preemptive strike" has been adopted as a strategy of the Lee group.

The danger of a nuclear war on the Korean Peninsula is coming from the U.S. and south Korea.

The root cause of a war should be rooted out in good time.

The situation goes to prove that it is entirely just for the revolutionary forces of the DPRK to mercilessly wipe out with their arms of justice the group of traitors going reckless like a puppy knowing no fear of a tiger.
