Two Sets of Triplets Born in DPRK
Pyongyang, May 7 (KCNA) -- Two sets of triplets were born in the Pyongyang Maternity Hospital of the DPRK on May 3.

Ji Yon Hui, wife of army officer Jang Kyong Nam, residing in Kosong County of Kangwon Province, gave birth to girl triplets in the morning.

She received a rest cure for nearly 100 days after being hospitalized late in January.

The hospital provided her with the best medical care including treatment for ensuring the babies' normal growth and preventing complication.

Her babies weigh 1.98, 2.15 and 1.78 kgs at birth.

Kim Yong Sim, farmer of the Munhung Co-op Farm in Phyongwon County of South Phyongan Province, gave birth to one boy triplet and two girl triplets in the afternoon.

Her husband Ri Myong Gwon is also a farmer of the same farm.

The weights of Kim's were 1.83, 2.09(boy) and the last-born 1.87 kgs at birth.

The babies are in good health.
