Fascist Authorities' Inhuman Treatment of Woman under Fire in S. Korea
Pyongyang, May 7 (KCNA) -- 17 civic and social organizations of south Korea including the Chungbuk Headquarters of the south Korean Confederation of Trade Unions and the People's Solidarity for the Repeal of the "Security Law" held a press conference on May 4 at which they condemned the "government" authorities' inhuman treatment of a woman writer.

The organizations in their press release chided the fascist authorities for indicting and detaining a woman writer on charges of violation of the "Security Law" for the mere reason that she conducted cultural and literary activities in Chungju.

The woman writer who has been behind bars for nearly a month is mother of a little daughter with no one to look after, the press release noted, adding that the daughter is now in distress, pitifully calling her mother.

It demanded the security authorities immediately stop their inhumane treatment and release the woman writer.

They will never tolerate the tyrannical suppression by the traitors' regime and security authorities, it declared.
