Rodong Sinmun Slams Lee Group's Ridiculous Diplomacy
Pyongyang, May 7 (KCNA) -- Kim Thae Hyo, senior presidential secretary for foreign strategy planning of Chongwadae, was reported to have toured New York and Washington recently for huddles with high-ranking diplomatic and security officials of the U.S. over what they called "proposal for cooperation in the policy towards the north."

Officials of the defense ministry held the first south Korea-U.S. "joint defense consultative meeting" in the U.S.

Rodong Sinmun on Monday observes in a bylined article in this regard:

A series of anti-DPRK huddles held by south Korean officials with their U.S. master are nothing but a revelation of the serious uneasiness about their deepening crisis and extreme confrontation hysteria.

The criminal confabs are further escalating the tension on the Korean Peninsula, the commentary notes, and goes on:

The "cooperation with the U.S. in the policy toward the north" touted by the puppet group is nothing but dangerous cooperation aimed at infringing upon the sovereignty of the DPRK and ratcheting up the sanctions against the DPRK worldwide.

"The strong counter-action" cried out by them for coping with "threat of the north's nukes and missiles" and the like is no more than an adventurous drumbeat to escalate the confrontation with the DPRK in league with foreign forces and, furthermore, ignite a war against the north, finding fault with its exercise of right to sovereignty.

The puppet forces are sadly mistaken if they calculate they can seek a way out and bring down the DPRK, backed by their U.S. master.

No matter how earnestly the Lee Myung Bak group may beg foreign forces for protection and cooperation, clamoring for "nuclear umbrella" and "missile shield," they can never prolong their dirty remaining days.

The group would be well advised to stop going reckless, clearly mindful that its thoughtless behavior counting on foreign forces would bring it to nowhere.
