Kim Il Sung's Feats Lauded in Russia
Pyongyang, May 7 (KCNA) -- Russian papers and Internet homepages dedicated articles to the birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung with a portrait of the smiling President and photos showing his revolutionary activities.

Russian paper Komsomolskaya Pravda on April 14 said that the Korean people were looking back on the devoted services made by Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il for building an independent and sovereign state in Korea and firmly protecting the dignity of the country and the nation on the centenary of the birth of the President (the Day of the Sun).

The April issue of Russian paper Serp I Molot referred in detail to the undying feats performed by the President for the Korean revolution and the world revolution since he embarked upon the road of revolution in his early years.

The paper noted that the Korean people have dynamically pushed forward the building of a thriving socialist nation, firmly sticking to the line and policy of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il under the leadership of the dear respected Kim Jong Un.

The Sverdlovsk Regional Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation on April 13 and 14 posted on its Internet homepage articles on the revolutionary career of the President under the captions "The centenary of the birth of President Kim Il Sung" and "Congratulations to the Korean people on the centenary of the birth of President Kim Il Sung."

Internet homepage Pravda. Ru on April 16 said that the world attention focused on the DPRK significantly celebrating the centenary of the President's birth. It posted an article contributed by a personage of the Far Eastern Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences praising the personality of the President as a great man.
