French Public Figure Interviewed by TV after His Visit to DPRK
Pyongyang, May 6 (KCNA) -- Benua Tenedei, vice-president of the France-Korea Friendship Association, gave his impressions of the DPRK, when interviewed by a TV reporter on April 26 after taking part in the celebrations of the centenary of the birth of President Kim Il Sung.

Saying that he had the privilege to watch various events including the military parade celebrating the centenary of the President's birth held at Kim Il Sung Square with splendor, he went on:

While the military parade was under way, I had the honor of seeing Supreme Commander Kim Jong Un very near from me and listened to his speech.

Kim Jong Un in his speech clarified his will to carry forward the line and policies of the preceding leaders.

While staying in the DPRK we witnessed the achievements made by the DPRK in economic development. New skycrapers are standing up in rows and brightly-lit streets of the capital city at night were fascinating. I could feel that the overall standard of its people's living is in the process of improvement though there are economic difficulties.

Witnessing the double standards of the U.S. and the West terming the DPRK satellite launch for peaceful purposes a violation of the UNSC resolution while patronizing and encouraging other countries' launch of long-range missiles, I keenly felt that the improved relations between the U.S. and the DPRK can hardly be expected unless the former rolls back its hostile policy toward the latter.
