DPRK's Capability for Self-defence Praised by Korean in U.S.
Pyongyang, May 15 (KCNA) -- Internet newspaper of Koreans in the U.S. Minjok Thongsin on May 1 posted an article contributed by Jong Ki Song, vice-chairman of the Eastern Regional Association of Koreans in America who took part in the celebrations of the centenary of the birth of President Kim Il Sung.

I visited Pyongyang to confirm what position the DPRK founded by the President holds in the world history of politics in which only the theory of strength reigns, the article said, and went on:

Watching the military parade, I could understand what was the source of strength that enabled the north to firmly maintain its stand in the protracted showdown with superpower U.S. without any concession.

The speech made by Supreme Commander Kim Jong Un was aired for the first time amid tension and silence as if time had stopped advancing.

His speech was a declaration of his will to achieve final victory of the Korean revolution along the road of independence, the road of Songun without fail.

I can confidently say that the moment offered me an opportunity to wipe out the world's apprehension about the north and convinced me of the day a thriving nation will unfold in the north.

The military parade featured by the marching style peculiar to the Korean People's Army greatly excited spectators.

That day my excitement did not subside due to expectation, hope and conviction of new political order in Northeast Asia and the rest of the world and equilibrium of strength.

Viewers of the military parade said the moment dropped a curtain on military and technical edge which has been considered by the imperialists as a monopoly.

In the north all the service personnel and people rallied close around the Workers' Party of Korea are like a family whose members help and love each other.

As mentioned above, all people in the north are leading a harmonious life in a big family in their own way of thinking and lifestyle. It is ridiculous to speak ill of these people over "human rights issue", "heredity" and "seclusion."

The loud shouts of "Hurrah!" that shook the square was enough to prove that the attempts of those letting loose deliberate and malignant invectives against the north to do harm to the DPRK are futile.
