Lao National Assembly Delegation Visits Mangyongdae
Pyongyang, May 3 (KCNA) -- The delegation of the National Assembly of the People's Democratic Republic of Laos led by President Pany Yathortou, member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party (LPRP), visited Mangyongdae on Thursday.

At the old home of President Kim Il Sung the members of the delegation looked round the historic relics preserved there with care, being briefed on the glorious revolutionary history of the President and his family members in Mangyongdae.

They had a photo taken before the old home.

The head of the delegation wrote in the visitor's book that she was pleased to visit the old home of the President. The President was a close friend of the Lao people, she wrote, and went on:

Through visit to Mangyongdae we could know well about the fact that the President brought about freedom and independence to the Korean people.

This serves as good base for education of posterity.

I believe Mangyongdae will be remembered for all ages in the hearts of the world people.

The delegation also visited the e-library and indoor swimming pool of Kim Il Sung University, the Mangyongdae Schoolchildren's Palace and the Exhibition of Arms and Equipment of the Korean People's Army.
