Computer Centre in Sinuiju City
Pyongyang, May 2 (KCNA) -- The North Phyongan Provincial Computer Centre, located in Sinuiju City, the DPRK, makes a big contribution to developing science and technology in the province.

It gives hardware, software and multi-media services.

The director of the Centre, Song Ji Myong, told KCNA:

"Founded in August Juche 89 (2000), the Centre is staffed with high-level IT experts and boasts of up-to-date equipment.

It actively carries on exchanges with many IT-related units throughout the country.

In recent years, the Center helped computerize the management of many industrial establishments and farms in the province, including Rakwon Machine Complex and Sinam Co-op Farm in Ryongchon County, through a dynamic drive to implement the Workers' Party of Korea's line of priority to science and technology.

An increasing number of domestic and foreign clients have applied for cooperation with the Centre."
