Present there were Kim Sung Du, chairman of the KCSC and chairman of the Education Commission, So Ho Won, vice-chairman of the Korean Committee for Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries, and KCSC members.

Attending it were German Hermin Ferras Alvarez, Cuban ambassador to the DPRK, and staff members of his embassy.

Reviewed at the meeting was last year's work done by the KCSC for friendship and solidarity with the Cuban people advancing along the banner of socialism defending the sovereignty of the country and achievements of the revolution under the leadership of the Communist Party of Cuba.

Discussed there were issues on organizing various colorful events in 2012 marking the 50th anniversary of the formation of the KCSC.
