Kim Il Sung's Exploits Praised by Foreign Papers
Pyongyang, May 1 (KCNA) -- Newspapers of various countries carried special write-ups on the occasion of the centenary of the birth of President Kim Il Sung.

Vietnamese Paper Quan Doi Nhan Dan on April 14 carried a commemorative article titled "On the occasion of the 100th birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung, great person of Korea" illustrated with photos of smiling President and leader Kim Jong Il.

The article noted the President was the great leader of the Korean people and a close friend of Vietnamese people.

The Uruguayan paper La Juventud on the same day carried an article titled "Kim Il Sung, eternal sun" with a photo of the President waving back to cheering crowds.

The article said the President authored lots of works to instill the faith in sure victory and courage into the progressives fighting for independence against imperialism. Voices admiring him are being heard from every part of the world, it added.

The British paper Proletarian April-May issue dedicated five pages to the article titled "Kim Il Sung 1912-1994" illustrated with photos of the President in the days of Jilin Yuwen High School and receiving internationalist Che Guevara.

The paper praised the President as a great leader admired not only by the Korean people but the anti-imperialist fighters across the world.

It pointed out the President performed undying feats in the global struggle for national liberation against imperialism.

The April 19th issue of the U.S. paper Worker's World edited an article praising the President's exploits with his portrait.
