Scandals of heavyweights of the present regime, confidants of Lee Myung Bak, are being disclosed one after another these days, the editorial said, and continued:

Choe Si Jung, former chairman of the Broadcasting and Communication Committee, received a huge amount of money from a development company on several occasions in return for supporting it while a former vice-minister of Knowledge and Economy was involved in this scandal. And truth of other scams including illegal investigation, fabrication of stock is being probed, it noted.

It accused Lee Sang Duk, elder brother of Lee Myung Bak, of receiving hundreds of millions of won, sparking off public uproar. The editorial also slammed Lee Myung Bak for crying out for victory in "the presidential" election, while wining and dinning with Park Geun Hye on April 24.

This is a mean and ugly sight, indeed, the editorial said, calling for sternly punishing those involved in the scandals.
