S. Korean Authorities Denounced by Farmers' Organizations

Pyongyang, April 29 (KCNA) -- At least 40 farmers' organizations including the Farmers, Fishermen and Stock Breeders Association and the Peasants' Solidarity of south Korea held a press conference in Kwachon, Kyonggi Province on April 27 in protest against the puppet authorities' import of American beef infected with mad cow disease, according to south Korean KBS.

Speakers at the press conference denounced Lee Myung Bak for not taking any measure as regards the import of American beef despite the occurrence of mad cow disease in the U.S.

They demanded the authorities stop the import of the beef, though belatedly.
