It said:

Lee Myung Bak asserted that the north might spend a ridiculous amount of money for launching a long-range missile and that amount of fund would be enough to buy a large quantity of food. He also talked about "striking the supreme headquarters through an office window" and the "enforcement of agrarian reform", interfering in internal affairs of the north.

The provocations perpetrated by Lee, timed to coincide with the celebrations of the Day of the Sun in the north is a typical move of the Lee regime, forsaken by the people, to tide over the crisis by escalating the danger of a war.

The escalated tension between the south and the north created such situation that a war may break out any moment.

The statement urged the Lee, disturber of peace on the peninsula, to step down at once.

Meanwhile, the People for Achieving Peace Reunification of south Korea on Tuesday held the 122nd rally for peace and disarmament outside the "Ministry of Defense" to condemn the provocative and reckless actions of the Lee Myung Bak group of traitors which sparked off a crisis.

On the same day the Solidarity for Progress in south Korea released a commentary slamming the Lee group for pushing the situation on the peninsula to the brink of a war.

It accused Lee of taking the lead in making provocative remarks and perpetrating acts against the social system in the north and its supreme headquarters every day, straining the situation.
