Meeting for Solidarity with Koreans Held in Benin
Pyongyang, April 28 (KCNA) -- A meeting for solidarity with the Korean people took place in Cotonou, Benin on April 22.

The rector of Cotonou Institute of Journalism of Benin and other speakers said that the Lee Myung Bak group of south Korea made no scruple of daring to insult the peerlessly great men of Mt. Paektu whom not only Koreans but the whole world revere and praise. This was an intolerable evil act against the dignity of the supreme leadership of the DPRK and the supreme dignity of the progressive mankind, they added.

They went on to say:

The Lee Myung Bak regime systematically scuttled the north-south relations from the first days of its office and dared to slander the undisputed prestige of the great leaders upheld by the Koreans, pushing the inter-Korean relations to the lowest ebb.

It is the universal ethics of mankind to respect the supreme dignity of each country and nation irrespective of differing ideology, social system, religious belief and political view.

History will record a miserable end to be meted out to the group of confrontation-minded traitors who dared to point the finger at the sun, going against the progressives' noble sense of moral obligation.

The participants watched Korean film "Arms of Korea".
