Koreans in Japan Meet to Extend Thanks to Kim Jong Un
Pyongyang, April 27 (KCNA) -- A meeting of officials of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon) and Koreans in Japan took place at the Korean Hall in Tokyo on April 24 to extend thanks to the dear respected Kim Jong Un for sending educational aid funds and stipend to the children of the Koreans in Japan.

Present there were Ho Jong Man, chief vice-chairman of the Chongryon Central Standing Committee, and leading officials of organizations and enterprises of Chongryon, officials of Chongryon Headquarters in Kanto and its chapters, Koreans in Japan, teachers and students of Joson University and Korean schools in Kanto area, Korean scientists and Korean students studying at Japanese schools.

Pae Ik Ju, vice-chairman of the Chongryon Central Standing Committee and concurrently chairman of its National Rights Committee, in a report extended highest glory and warmest thanks to Kim Jong Un for sending a large amount of educational aid funds and stipend on the centenary of the birth of President Kim Il Sung.

Pae said that a steady continuity is given to the history of love shown by the peerless great persons thanks to Kim Jong Un, identical to Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il, praising him as a tender-hearted father of Chongryon and Koreans in Japan.

Pae called for glorifying forever the undying feats performed by Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il for the development of democratic national education of Chongryon. He underscored the need for the Koreans in Japan to get united close around the Chongryon organization and wage a dynamic struggle to protect and expand the right to national education by holding fast to the national education as a lifeline of the movement of Koreans in Japan.
