Taekwon-Do Complex Completed
Pyongyang, April 26 (KCNA) -- The Taekwon-Do Complex was built in Chongchun Street of Pyongyang, the capital city of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.

The Complex covers a total floor space of more than ten thousand square meters.

It is a present to the 100th anniversary of President Kim Il Sung's birth.

On display at its Taekwon-Do history museum are historical documents and photos on data showing the birth and development of Taekwon-Do, a traditional martial art of the Korean nation.

The Complex has training rooms equipped with various kinds of training instruments and a big hall in the heart of it where Taekwon-Do players can practice their technique.

There are also computer-based knowledge dissemination room, conference room, video room and various welfare service facilities.

Pak Hyok, manager of the Complex, told KCNA:

"The Complex is for the study of the history and science of Taekwon-Do and dissemination of its technique and for training of its players and instructors.

It will greatly contribute to further developing Taekwon-Do and displaying the Korean nation's superiority."
