Wax Replica of Kim Jong Suk Displayed
Pyongyang, April 26 (KCNA) -- A hall housing a wax replica of the anti-Japanese war hero, Kim Jong Suk, was opened at the International Friendship Exhibition House in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea on Tuesday.

The wax replica of Kim Jong Suk in a guerrilla uniform is standing on an azalea-covered hill against the background of Mt. Paektu.

The hall exhibits the gifts she received from foreign dignitaries and people.

It serves as another center helping convey down to posterity the revolutionary life and the feats of Kim Jong Suk, woman commander of the anti-Japanese guerrilla army who is immortal as a great woman revolutionary.

She was born into a patriotic and revolutionary family in Hoeryong, North Hamgyong Province on December 24, Juche 6 (1917).

In her early years, she embarked on the road of revolution and safeguarded President Kim Il Sung at the risk of her life, revering him as the sun of the nation.

She set an example of devotedly defending the leader by thoroughly implementing his ideas and lines.

She distinguished herself in political activities and battles with matchless bravery and superb marksmanship.

The hall is a precious national treasure, which will be handed down to posterity along with the history of the Sun's Korea.
