Corruption of Lee Myung Bak's Confidant Disclosed
Pyongyang, April 26 (KCNA) -- The south Korean KBS disclosed on April 24 the corruption committed by former Chairman of the Broadcasting and News Service Committee Choe Si Jung, confidant of Lee Myung Bak.

Choe's graft has been brought to light when the prosecution was investigating a business.

In the investigation, a broker was disclosed to have lobbied Choe for an approval for the huge development project in Ryangjae-dong, Seoul in the 2007-2008 period at the request of the representative of the business.

Those concerned with the development project admitted this and Choe also acknowledged the fact that he was bribed.

Choe has been involved in lots of corruption cases with the backing of Lee, typically the sale of a foreign exchange bank to an American investment company.

For this, Choe could not but be ousted from his post in January, judged by the people.
