Floral Tribute by Chinese Peace Delegation
Pyongyang, April 24 (KCNA) -- The visiting delegation of the Chinese People's Association for Peace and Disarmament led by its Vice-President Li Wuwei, vice-chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, laid wreaths at the Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery on Mt. Taesong and the Friendship Tower on Tuesday.

Participating in the laying ceremony were Kim Jin Bom, vice-chairman of the DPRK Committee for Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries and vice-chairman of the National Peace Committee of Korea, and staff members of the Chinese embassy here.

The members of the delegation laid bouquets before the bust of anti-Japanese war hero Kim Jong Suk in the Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery on Mt. Taesong and observed a moment's silence in memory of her.

Wreaths in the name of the delegation were laid at the Cemetery and the Friendship Tower.

The participants paid silent tribute to the memory of the revolutionary martyrs who devoted all their life to the liberation of the country, socialist construction and accomplishment of the revolutionary cause of Juche and the martyrs of the Chinese People's Volunteers who laid down their lives in their brave fight in the Korean War.
