The work, published on August 4, 1997, deals with the immortal exploits performed by President Kim Il Sung in the cause of national reunification. It also formulates the three principles of national reunification, the ten-point programme of the great unity of the whole nation and the proposal for founding the Democratic Federal Republic of Koryo as the three charters for national reunification and indicates tasks and ways for carrying out the cause of national reunification on their basis.
