Congratulations from Foreign Political Party Leaders

Pyongyang, April 23 (KCNA) -- The dear respected Kim Jong Un received congratulatory messages from political party leaders of several countries on April 12 and 13 on his election as first secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK). They were Gwede Mantashe, secretary general of the African National Congress of South Africa, and Alberto Anaya Gutierrez, coordinator of the National Coordinating Committee of the Workers' Party of Mexico.

The messages warmly congratulated Kim Jong Un upon his election as first secretary of the WPK, saying it is a token of the trust of the Korean people and the party members in him.

They sincerely hoped that Kim Jong Un will provide wise guidance to the Korean people in their heroic struggle to turn the DPRK into a thriving socialist nation.

Mamadou Lamin Thiam, national permanent secretary of the Democratic Party of Senegal, sent a message of greeting to Kim Jong Un on April 12 on the occasion of the birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung.

He in the message wished Kim Jong Un greater successes in his responsible work for the reunification of the country and the building of a thriving nation.
