Graduates from Secondary School Volunteer to Work at Ryongyang Mine
Pyongyang, April 23 (KCNA) -- Jo Jang Hyang and 7 sisters and brothers, graduates from Pyongyang Munsin Secondary School, volunteered to work at the Ryongyang Mine in Paekgumsan situated in the eastern part of Korea. They lost their parents during the Arduous March. Ri Yong Nyo, who took care of them like their mother since then, decided to go to the mine with her children displaying ardent patriotism.

The dear respected Kim Jong Un showed warm loving care and deep trust in them, highly praising their good deeds.

A farewell ceremony took place at the Central Youth Hall on Monday.

Speakers at the ceremony warmly congratulated them leaving the difficult and labor-consuming work site in hearty response to the call of the Workers' Party of Korea.

The volunteers pledged to be innovators remembered and praised by the country and its people as befitting sons and daughters of Pyongyang, following the example set by the agitator in Hero Excavator No. 7 Workteam of the mine.

At the end of the ceremony, the participants gave bouquets to them, warmly sending them off.
