S. Korean Paper Deplores Society Rampant with Dictatorship
Pyongyang, April 23 (KCNA) -- The south Korean paper Kyunghyang Daily News on April 19 deplored the situation of south Korea under the dictatorial rule of traitor Lee Myung Bak.

Democracy and freedom of speech are stamped out and the people's living has been pushed to a cliff due to part-time job and serious joblessness in south Korean society, the paper noted, adding that this bears a close resemblance to the situation on the eve of April 19.

The April 19 uprising broke out as people's living and economy were driven into distress and the March 15 fraudulent election lashed the people into great fury, the paper noted, stressing that the people's resentment is now running high just as it was at that time.

The fighting spirit of the participants in the uprising who chanted slogans "Down with dictatorial regime" and "Let's achieve democracy of society and the independent reunification of the country" still lives on in the present movement for independent reunification after going through the periods of the May 18 Kwangju popular resistance and the June resistance.

It is the Lee dictatorial regime which spearheaded the illegal investigation into civilians by dint of power and money and reduced media to a propaganda tool representing the specified forces, the paper pointed out, calling upon people from all walks of life to wage a positive struggle for democracy.
