The personal letter said:

I extend congratulations to you on the occasion of the centenary of the birth of President Kim Il Sung, the state holiday of the DPRK.

Russia is vividly remembering the great contributions made by the DPRK founder in boosting the friendly and cooperative relations between the two countries and highly estimating them.

I believe that the Russia-DPRK relations will develop in line with the wellbeing of the two countries and the regional stability and security on the basis of the mutual respect and good neighborliness in the future, too.

I wish you success in your responsible activities and all the Korean people peace and wellbeing.
