Kim Yong Il Meets Lao Delegation
Pyongyang, April 16 (KCNA) -- Kim Yong Il, alternate member of the Political Bureau and secretary of the C.C., the Workers' Party of Korea, Monday met and had a talk with the visiting delegation of Laos led by Phankham Viphavanh, member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party who doubles as minister of Education and Sports.

Present there were Pak Kun Gwang, vice department director of the C.C., the WPK, and Kiettisak Keobanhdith, Lao ambassador to the DPRK.

The head of the delegation said that he extends the highest tribute to Kim Il Sung, eternal President of the DPRK.

He said that he came to know well about the DPRK's development and invincible might while participating in various celebrations during his stay in the DPRK.

Noting that the relations between Laos and the DPRK are the comradly ones forged in the struggle for socialist construction, he expressed belief that the friendly relations between the two parties and the two countries would grow stronger.
