At the gathering the participants played amusement games divided into the Kumgangsan and Myohyangsan teams.

The spectators enthusiastically supported the players in such games as running with a ball in between their foreheads and a tug of war.

A brass band played, acrobats showed their skills and schoolchildren and juveniles danced supporting their teams, adding to the festive mood.

Foreign artistes, overseas Korean artistes and schoolchildren and juveniles of the DPRK presented joyful dances to the tune of waltz.
