Remembrance Meeting of Foreign Crewmen Held
Pyongyang, April 14 (KCNA) -- A remembrance meeting of foreign crewmen took place at Nampho Port on Saturday, a day before the centenary of the birth of President Kim Il Sung.

The participants laid a floral basket before the statue of the President in Nampho City and made bows.

Present at the meeting were captains and crewmen of the Belize-flagged ship "Tousyoumaru", a Cambodian-flagged ship and a Panamanian-flagged ship.

The speakers said that the birth of Kim Il Sung was a historic event that brought the bright future to the Korean people and the world revolutionary people.

They noted that Kim Il Sung embarked upon the road of revolution in his early years, defeated briganish Japanese imperialism and devoted his all to the liberation and independence of Korea and the prosperity of the country.

The great feats he performed for the era and history will be everlasting, they stressed.

They wished the Korean people greater successes in achieving the reunification of the country and building a thriving nation under the leadership of the dear respected Kim Jong Un.

A letter to Kim Jong Un was adopted at the meeting.
