Old Home in Mangyongdae Draws Endless Bevy of Visitors
Pyongyang, April 12 (KCNA) -- A total of over 126 million servicepersons, people from all walks of life, school youth and children, overseas Koreans and foreigners have visited the old home of President Kim Il Sung in Mangyongdae since the liberation of Korea.

The visitors looked back on the life of the President who, born in a thatched house in Mangyongdae, performed exploits on behalf of the times, the revolution, the country and its people.

It has been visited by senior party, army and state officials, officials of ministries and national institutions, participants of various meetings, servicepersons of the Korean People's Army, workers, agricultural workers and school youth and children.

At least two million people visited the house on an annual average.

The visit to Mangyongdae has taken place as more sacred work in strong yearning for the President since July 1994.

At least 212,000 Koreans from overseas and south Korea and 838,000 foreigners have visited Mangyongdae and expressed reverence for the President.
