They included meetings, book and photo exhibitions, film shows and art performances in Russia, Vietnam, Bangladesh and remembrance meetings in Russia, Democratic Congo, France and Germany between April 2 and 6.

On display in the venues of the events held in Russia, Vietnam and Bangladesh were works of the President and general secretary Kim Jong Il, photos showing their feats and books and photos introducing the DPRK.

"Song of General Kim Il Sung", revolutionary hymn, and other Korean songs including "Sing, Fork to Mangyongdae" were put on the performance stages.

Korean films shown included "Fireworks for a Thriving Nation".
