The members of the North Headquarters of Pomminryon said that Ro's visit is a patriotic deed aimed to contribute to preserving and implementing the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration, a programme for implementing it.

They extended full support and solidarity to the youth and students of south Korea staging actions for the democratization of the society and the reunification of the country, while foiling the moves of the puppet regime hell-bent on sycophancy toward the U.S. and confrontation with compatriots.

Ro Su Hui called upon the young people to carry on their dynamic struggle, inheriting the spirit of forerunners.

He underscored the need to vigorously advance hand in hand till the day when the youth in the south and the north would shout hurrah for national reunification based on the June 15 joint declaration.
